I went with my mom’s side of the family once to Florida. Had we known before the place my grandma had booked for us all to stay, most of us would have looked for some more hotels in Panama City FL… because she booked us in a retirement hotel!!!! We had a curfew, folks! We couldn’t be outside or in the pool after 10pm, and it was awful! We ended up using the hotel pool next door, but it was still a mess. :( We were so disappointed… I can only remember going down to the actual beach like twice… I don’t know if I’ve blocked it out or what. Everyone also went parasailing besides me… so that sucked too.
Sometimes I feel like I’ve been through literally every acne treatment in the world. It’s insane! I feel like I’ve tried Proactiv, Accutane, Clean and Clear, Carley’s Clear & Smooth, and now I’m on AcneFree… which seems to be helping some, but not clearing me up completely. I think I’m going to add a once per week exfoliant to my routine, and also try to wash my makeup off EVERY night before bed… a habit that I’m afraid I’m not very good at, unfortunately.
I’m just sick of being in my mid-twenties and still suffering from acne, it’s insane! :( I don’t see a silver lining.
When I hear breeches, my mind automatically goes to baby stuff. So it’s hard to believe it actually has to do with equestrian clothing & stuff. My friend Katelyn is probably laughing right now, because she rides horses in shows. I think that’s amazing. It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a horse… though I saw some not long ago in a race that some friends took us to. Anyway, I think it’s sad that our Petsmart stopped selling horse products, so now The Equestrian Corner will be recommended by me to people in need.
When B & I got our Mazda 3, we were so excited. It was the first time either of us had ever had a brand new car, and it’s been well worth the wait & money. It runs so awesome, is great with gas, and we’ve already taken it to Michigan and Myrtle Beach. It’s held up really well & we’re being careful getting oil changes on time & keeping it tuned up. We also have a few cute auto accessories that we need to put on - including a SC palm tree license plate. *nods*
Just in case you live in California… near San Jose… and you’ve recently gotten into a motorcycle accident… this link might be helpful for you:
Yeah, random, right? But isn’t it helpful to know there are attorneys out there just waiting for you to get in car wrecks and motorcycle accidents so they can assist you :) In reality, I hope nothing like that ever happens to any of us, but if/when it does, it’s important to know the law, your rights, and responsibility. These types of things can cost a lot of money & time, and cause a lot of pain… so be smart & be prepared!
I’ve only been to Florida twice, and both times… was kind of a bust. I have a friend that just moved from there to Texas, but I was hoping to go visit him before he moved, because it was closer than where he is now. Unfortunately we didn’t get to go, but I still like looking at Florida vacations & how they can be affordable. B & I really want to do some more traveling, but with our schedules (me going to school on the weekends) it’s hard. Oh well, we can at least browse & dream about it for now, right :) ? I’m pretty impressed with the Walt Disney World vacation, ($99 hello?!?) but I want more nights than just 2!
America is currently up in arms about health care. We’re talking about reform, we’re talking about making it free, and we’re talking about a lot of fears surrounding all that. I think it’s a really sensitive issue that everyone has their own opinion on, and I personally don’t support free health care - because the very thought of it scares me. I’ve done my research so please don’t try to “school” me on what it “really” is… I know what it is. I’ve studied the models in other countries. I’m just not interested in it.
With that being said, I wonder about medical travel & if it’s ever something B & I will have to think about. :( I simultaneously love & hate getting older because you have to plan for these things. Sigh.
I’ve been trying to avoid it, but B & I really need to start looking at kitchen sinks because ours is starting to leak a little around the faucet part. We fixed the “head” of it where water comes out so it doesn’t spray so badly any more, but it’s just looking little rough, and if we’re hoping for any resale value at all, it’s something we’re going to have to think about replacing. By investing money in your house, you get more out of it… so that’s the good thing. We’ve been talking about it for months so now it’s time to just do it!
I love the idea of a Promotional flash drive! :) How funny. You can customize a flash drive with your logo / name & then use it at events. I love the idea personally, because I’m a tech geek. Check out the custom shapes section:

I love it :) I think companies need to find ways to reach their potential clients by using little promotions like this. If you work at home, it would even be something you could give away as prizes on your blog, because people love giveaways & it fuels traffic. You gotta spend money to make money, right?
Don’t you hate when you’re in a place where cell towers aren’t in high demand? I hate it! In some parts of Eastern KY, where B is from, you barely get any reception at all. His parents moved to their cabin for a while to fix it up so they can sell it, and it’s up in the woods & you can forget texting or calling. I wonder if you bought some things from Steel in the Air if the reception would be better :) ??? A girl can always dream! It’s hard to live without my texting! How sad to admit that!
