small cellphone
Written on 29 June 2008 by kaleni have a midget cellphone. seriously, it’s *really* little. i got it as a gift from my stepmom & dad and about 2 days after i got it, i was already looking at cell phone amplifiers because it’s SO. SMALL. it’s silver and the smallest cellphone AT&T was making at the time and is now discontinued i’m pretty sure. i want a new phone because texting is hard on this one and the calls drop out sometimes.
modern furniture
Written on 29 June 2008 by kalendo any of you have modern furniture in your houses? i’d love to see pictures. i think sometimes it works and sometimes it really doesn’t, it depends on if the person knows what they’re doing and balances it, i think. i could never live in a house with furniture so modern you didn’t feel comfortable in it… what’s the point even of that? i mean sure, it looks nice, but your guests are afraid to sit down on it!
gold chain
Written on 29 June 2008 by kaleni remember when gold was in style, then was way out of style, and now it’s coming back in again and i actually like it. i’m thinking of buying a few small, inexpensive pieces to start wearing occasionally when i go out… maybe like a gold chain or something. i mostly like wearing bracelets so i guess i could get one of those… but that would mean taking off my silver bracelet britt got me for christmas that i never take off, so hmm. decisions, decisions ![]()
office furniture
Written on 29 June 2008 by kalenwe’re needing some new office furniture and i’m trying to decide whether or not to put it on our wedding registry or what. it’s so expensive and i don’t want people to think we expect them to buy us something that nice. plus, i really don’t like the idea of getting a bunch of house stuff on our registry - it’s not really what i’m “into” so to speak. but i like looking at office furniture because billy spends a lot of time “working” in our office.
steering shmeering
Written on 21 June 2008 by kalenanybody working on a car that might need a steering rack? billy’s brother has a bronco he’s been working on for a few months - he’s had to update the breaks, a few things about the tires, and now he’s thinking he’ll have to update the transmission because it isn’t shifting smoothly & is acting strange. i’m going to show him a few of the car repair/part sites i blog about that might be helpful to search for low-priced car equipment.
condo hotel
Written on 21 June 2008 by kalenwe’ve already taken our summer vacation (to myrtle beach) and i don’t think we’re taking a honeymoon, or we’d be looking at a few different condo hotel options in different places. the truth is, i’m content with saving our money for a second house & to pay off bills and the wedding… but i wouldn’t mind visiting disney world since i’ve never been. i also think it’d be interesting and amazing to visit a hispanic country… maybe in south america… because since learning about their culture, i find it very interesting & appealing. you have to find the right place to stay on vacation or it ends up being a bust, because you feel dirty & messy in your own ROOM - where you’re supposed to feel comfortable and happy. ![]()
credit transfer
Written on 21 June 2008 by kaleni don’t know if people know how many “tricks” are out there when it comes to debt and credit cards. for instance, putting your highest balance on a credit card and doing a balance transfer credit card where your interest rate is 0% for the first year. or, simply calling your credit company & telling them you feel like you deserve a lower interest rate because you’ve been paying your card on time (or early) for the past x amount of years. i’ve read and heard about a lot you can do that you just don’t because you don’t even realize it!
cable what
Written on 19 June 2008 by kalenonce again, if you’re a gadget geek i’m sure you liked my last post and this post about a Cat5e patch cable. anybody know what that is without looking it up?
i guess i can challenge you to that. i wonder if a bunch of people on this website are looking for a cat5e patch cable or if they’re just like, “what? how does that relate to me?” maybe i can get billy to start guest posting on topics like that, i’m sure he’d make it a lot more interesting.
kvm
Written on 19 June 2008 by kalensometimes i have no idea what type of product i’m reviewing, especially when the only information i’m really given is the name KVM. so when i looked it up i found out it meant a device that can turn on/off multiple devices… once again a “billy” device. but i think it’s neat what a variety of gadgets is out there and i think it’s overwhelming to some people, really. billy and i were talking about that today - whether technology is as “friendly” as people wish it was.
truck accident
Written on 19 June 2008 by kaleni know a girl who got hit by a semi and seriously injured. i’m sure she used a truck accident lawyer because her injuries were extensive and i’m pretty sure the wreck wasn’t her fault. she posted pictures of herself after the accident on her myspace and they’re awful. i think she has pins that will permanently hold her pelvis in place? any time you get in that serious of an accident, lawyers definitely need to be a part of the process.
